This is supposed to entertain an audience by giving them music to get absorbed into or to play at a club as it is fairly new-wave

This delivers an alternative version to a song that already exists
they Taylor it towards a specific type of music for example they have made
this for people who enjoy house music or are curious about this version as they have enjoyed the original song
Meaning - What does the product convey in terms of

When a listener first hears this it causes them to be intrigued as they have probably heard the original song so this newer version is something that is almost reinventing the song itself for the listener sparking a curiosity and makes them ask several questions
whats been changed? will any of this be familiar to me? whats effects have been used? |
Genre - What genre does it belong to? How can you tell?
This comes under house music remix. You can tell this as it has took an original song by Coldplay and they have turned it into a remix they have achieved this by adding effects and changing the specific order of the track itself
Target audience - Who are the targeted audience? What
demographic do they come under? What does any RAJAR data tell us about this
group?
this appears to be aimed at teenagers or people in their early 20s i would say this because it is a fairly new genre of music and may not appeal to an older generation who have already fully developed their taste in music and specific genres. This is quite a clever media product to produce as it can attract two types of people. People that enjoy house music and those that enjoy the original song itself and are curious to hear some kind of remix, and want to see what has been changed almost to compare the two versions of the songs.
Frequency - How often is this audio product
available/updated? What is significant about that frequency.
This audio product is never really updated but there are many remixes of this song available online the reason as to why it is not updated is because as soon as a song it is released it is open for public consumption it would not makes sense to update the original but maybe make a sequel to it if you want to add something else to it or alter it in any way this would be good for someone that enjoys your version of the song and are interested in more of your work again this gives them a chance to contrast your work.
Production process - Where and how is the product produced? How
is it made available for consumption?
This particular song is available on soundcloud like a lot of remixes or original songs

Notes: Artie Lange too fat to fish audio book
Purpose – What is the purpose
of this audio product? Does it entertain, inform, instruct? How do you know
it is for this purpose?
This audio book is supposed to entertain an audience and is also
supposed to inform the audience about Artie Lange’s life as it is full of stories from his days as a young infant to a fully grown adult who is in the world of comedy
Form & Style – What form
does the product take (podcast, audiobook, audio manual etc. What style is
employed? Conversational, formal, informal etc.
This is an audiobook, this was also released as a hard cover book and
also a paperback but the audio-book is the audio form. This audio book starts off with Artie Lange reading the book to you which creates quite a personal feel like he is reading to you. But due to his drug addiction as he explains around a quarter of the way through the book he has to leave due to his heroin addiction.
Content - What is in this audio product, what does it
deliver to its audience.
This was released to give the audience that are interested in reading
the book another option to consume the book. This may be more popular to a demographic
that doesn't really read or buy or read books but can happily listen to something and are interested in the authors life.
Meaning - What does the product convey in terms of
meaning, does it seek to influence or engage the listener in thought.
The meaning or goal for this is to engage the audience to give them
the vision that the reader is talking to you not just reading a book in a
monotone voice
Genre - What genre does it belong to? How can you tell?
This is meant to be a book with humour in it with personal memoirs
told within it. You can tell this as he is telling stories from his life but
also adds in a few humorous lines to keep the audience engaged
Target audience - Who are the targeted audience? What
demographic do they come under? What does any RAJAR data tell us about this
group?
People whom are interested in Artie Lange and his life. I would say
the target demographic for this would be adults between 22-35

This was released in 2008 and has not been updated i am sure there are other versions of the audio book people have made and released online

Production process - Where and how is the product produced? How
is it made available for consumption?
I found a version of this on YouTube in several different parts

Comparison
The comparison between an audio book and a song is quite drastic for this one I have chosen to look at content specifically. Which I am sure you can imagine how big the difference is based on the concept alone. An audio book is giving the audience an alternative option to consume a book in a different manner as opposed to simply reading. A remix of a song on the other hand contains music that the audience has already heard but it is presented in a different way. But the music can be oriented to people that enjoy different genres.
